Associate Professor Betty Calam - UBC

Associate Professor Betty Calam has gained extensive experience as an academic faculty member with the Department of Family Practice at UBC since 1994, the founding Director for the Division of Aboriginal People’s Health in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC from 2001-2003, and a role as Director for the St. Paul’s site of the UBC Family Practice Residency Program from 2003 to the present.
Betty has participated in medical education curriculum development in Aboriginal Health, with direction from and collaboration with aboriginal communities and organizations. She remains involved in teaching, curriculum development and research through the Division of Aboriginal People’s Health and the UBC Family Practice Residency Program.
